Visceral Osteopathy
Gently releasing tension around your organs
Visceral Osteopathy is applying the same concept than Osteopathy to the organs, which are held in place by ligaments and fascia to the skeletal frame of the body. Our hands can perceive areas of tension and compression, and the purpose is to work gently on the frame and attachments around these organs to release these tensions which can hinder the blood and the nerve supply of these organs and their functions.
Releasing the tensions around the organs help this system to relax and so stimulate the vagus nerve, which in return improve the function of the organs.
