Sound baths work on the principle that everything in our universe is made up of energy which is vibrating. Certain sounds will resonate with different organs within our bodies which will have an effect on our autonomic, immune & endocrine systems as well as our brain waves. A sound bath facilitates a state of calm and rest which we would normally only experience when our bodies are sleeping. They can also help to alleviate stress and anxiety in our lives.

In a sound bath, you will be invited to lie in a comfortable position and let the sounds of singing bowls, chimes, drums, and percussion instruments wash over you, taking you on a journey of deep relaxation.

What are you supposed to do during a sound bath?

During a sound bath session with a practitioner, you lie down on a yoga mat with a comfy cushion under your head. The practitioner then asks you to focus on your breath for a few minutes to relax and then uses different instruments like healing bowls, tuning forks, and gongs to produce different sounds and vibrations.
